Summer Recreation At The Mazo Lions Park
This summer the Dane County Sheriffs Office and Joining Forces for Families will be hosting a summer recreation program for kids in the Mazomanie and Black Earth area.
Recommended for ages 8 to 14, the camp will be held at the Turk Shelter of Walking Iron Park in Mazomanie.
There is no charge for this program which includes one hour of a sport/athletic activity and one hour of activities such as crafts, safety, preventative and awareness related topics, or a presentation.
The program will be held on Wednesdays-July 16, 23, and 30 and August 6, 13 and 20. August 20 will be a field trip.
In order to participate, children need to have a permission form filled out. Forms may be picked up at the Mazomanie Police Department, or the information table at either Black Earth Elementary or Mazomanie Elementary. The completed forms may be returned to any of those locations.
